In the seventies, T. Krishnamacharya decided to teach the practice of Vedic Chant to women and foreigners, thus breaking a thousand-year taboo, T. Krishnamacharya recognized the importance of these chants and mantra, both on a therapeutic and spiritual level. Today, thanks to this farsighted decision, it is possible for all to benefit from the sacred and precious ‘sound’ of the ancient Vedic hymns. Finally, it predisposes us to meditation.
